Well I decided to choo choo on mafia and got perma banned woot woot well I was wondering if I deleted my bank would it have any affect to un ban my self or is the mafia trigger based off name or account ID... Pointless to ban when arcade account can be free now lol.
This might have changed since when it was first posted, but according to this post, they are very much aware that banning you is pointless - it apparently works the other way 'round, you have to get whitelisted before you can play.
Apparently the map utilizes an auto-compile ban list. Basically its managed by an third-party application which adds ban updates to a file in the map repository so that next map update (which must happen very often) a player is then "banned" or "unbanned" in it.
Frankly I am against such practices and will not hesitate to call the developers "spoilt little brat children" for it as they try to control something that cannot be controlled in a stupid way. However I also deplore behaviour like this "was just douing a few leave trains enjoying peoples misery." and think that everyone should laugh at you and not try to help you.
There might be room to report the map to Blizzard as the map and developers now "harasses" you when you try to play it. However in light of your behaviour they might just over look any such report. In the end though two wrongs do not make a right and both you and the developers should clean up their acts.

@DOOMEDEARTH: Go
Why don't you cut and paste your bank file to a new folder and test it
