So i just finished duplicating a Hybrid Destroyer and i got everything working except, the impact animation plays on the target when the missile is launched. I have the same problem with my missile turret to. Seems like an easy fix but i looked everywhere i could think of.
Did you duplicate the actor? I encountered this problem a few times and I remember it is to do with the actor. Either you didn't duplicate the actor, or you have to set the Missile field of the actor to point to another actor. If it's the latter, Look at the original actor from which you duplicated.
As long as the underscored part points to your custom Damage effect, the impact actor should play on impact. I had this same problem last night, it's a common one when duplicating stuff, you just have to remember to check the actors.

check the Impact Actor's Events+ field. Anything in [ ] square brackets is Field followed by what should be in the field.

Got it, In my attack actor events field the second effect was set to my launch missile i thought that was right >.< anyways thanks a ton :D
