Multiple C Actors once tower is upgrade to final upgrade
Health is added to the tower via upgrade cost so it updates health once the tower starts upgrading instead of when the tower finishes upgrading. (I think i need to set a heal effect but i don't know how to do that)
I've also included some pictures of what I currently have. I dont know what I did wrong so if you want to have a picture of something else that may help you answer my question let me know.
I've uploaded OneTwo's Tower Defense below.
More Background
There are somethings I can't figure out from OneTwo's TD.
- How does OneTwo link back to a unit for new updated stats.(For example: health, armor and cost)
- Why he doesn't have any extra Effects in Info - Sections - Effects
Notes
Tower A = Visual Tower Start
Tower B = Visual Tower Mid
Morph Ability = Visual Tower Upgrade Mid
For your health problem, try creating a healer effect on the new tower once it's built to restore 25 HP. There may also be a field somewhere in the morph ability that lets you choose between old unit relative, old unit current, and new unit default HP.
For the cost display, check the Info+ field for the build ability that the marine uses. Open up the field for this particular tower, and check the "Technology Resource Cost." If that's not 0 for minerals, try setting it to 0 and see if that fixes your problem.

Try adding some effects to Info - Sections - Effects?

If you have the map why dont you just do a 1-1 comparison of every field and see what is different?

I've one on one compared for hours. No luck.
BTW OneTwo's Tower Defense is Open Source now!! :D

I believe it's a setting in the actual actors or something. Check into the fields of the morph effect, morph ability, and the models for the morph.
Models are purely visual except for turrets. The cause of the problem must either be in the units data type or the morph ability

Questions:
Are their different morph abilities?
If so which would you advice duplicating?
Any tips on checking my units data type?
Notes:
I'm currently using spire morph.
I havn't had enough time to test any of your suggestions.

You should probably make your own morph ability from scratch. They're pretty simple. Just look at what fields need to be modified for yours.
Statement
Follow this tutorial: http://forums.sc2mapster.com/resources/tutorials/11028-tutorial-data-misc-how-to-morphing-shapeshifter-druid/
Basically you are copying the warp prisms ability and applying them to your tower.
@gamemore
that's simply you have to modify the actor. The cost displayed is the actual price of the marine.
Select the primary actor for your tower under the Data Type Actors Tab. ( For this example the actor is for the unit "Tower A"
Under the Event tab:
- Add Event -
Msg Type: Ablity Morph
Source Name: Any
Sub Name: Start
- Then Add a Term
Term Type: MorphFrom
Unit Link: ("Tower A")
- Then Add Another Term
Term Type: Morph To
Unit Link: ("Tower B")
- Then alter the target (Line with the film clipboard)
Msg Type: Model Swap
Model: ("Tower B")
Variation: 255
This may do the trick.
It should look like this:
AbilMorph.*.Start
-> MorphFrom Tower A
-> MorphTo Tower B
~ ModelSwap Tower B
