What i am trying to do is a Blizzard Effect like the one from wow.
The Problem is the model i wan't to use for this has only one Blizzard Lance raining down from the sky.
How can i modify it so that when i channel the effect. Multiple Models are created randomly in the AoE Area.
Also they cant be created at the same time.
So instead one Lance raining down there should be like 15 or so. Randomly in the AoE Area.
Check the thor 250mm ability its do random explosions on an area, i'm also trying to do that and i cannont get it works so if you find the solution i'm also appreciated
Thx for the 250mm thor ability tip. I had the same problem with a similar random aoe effect. So as far as I could figure this out the random impact effect blizzard uses here is based on an actor type "site operation (random point in circle)" which is then linked to the actor "250mm Strike Cannons impact".
Each time that impact actor is called it looks for a random point around the target to create the next effect.
"Thor - 250mm Strike Cannons" - Ability:
-> Calls the "250mm Strike Cannon (Persistent)" Effect
"250mm Strike Cannon (Persistent)" Effect:
-> Calls the "250mm Strike Cannon (Damage)" Effect at each tick
"250mm Strike Cannon (Impact)" Effect:
-> @Events: Each time the "250mm Strike Cannon (Damage)" Effect starts, the next Impact Effect is created
-> @Host Site Operations: To find the next Impact Target Point the Actor "ThorBarrageVariance" is called which is the "site operation (random point in circle)"-Actor type
