My goal is to reorient a unit actor on its side to create a 2D side scroller, while preserving the unit's ability to change facing and look normal.
Using an explicit rotation site op with the following parameters:
This looks fine as long as the unit faces right. This screenshot is top down. Up/Down is the map's Y axis, Left/Right is the map's X axis.
When the unit changes facing, it rotates around the map's Z axis, resulting in an undesired rotation.
Is it possible to configure unit actor data so that when the unit changes facing it rotates around the map's Y axis, resulting in natural turning animation?
