hello fellow mapmakers.
I have a question on using the data editor.
I am trying to make a building nuke (without a ghost and ghost academy with nuke, etc)
I started by using a method I found on various forums I have searched which makes a ghost nuke by removing the "have nuke" requirement on the ability and then linking the "effect - nuke persistent" to "effect - nuke damage" therefore bypassing the "effect - nuke calldown".
I can now get the ghost to nuke and it works fine without a nuke and ghost academy, etc. But, when I put the ability onto a building and attempt to nuke I can get the "nuke cursor" effect, but when I actually click a spot to nuke nothing happens. I have messed around with almost all of the settings on the effects that I thought might fix the issue but I can't get it to work. Does anyone have an idea on how to do this?
Have you checked ability arc? You need to make it high enough like 360 degrees so building can cast it all around itself, or else it will make futile attempts to rotate toward target point. You can also add a turret to the building i think.

What he said. Make the ability field Arc - 0 to Arc - 360

Thansk for your help.

@uiasdnmb: Go
You, my friend are awesome. I changed the "arc" on the ability to 360 and it now works like a charm. Thank you for the help.
