Like the other editor modules, we could try to make a (bi)weekly excercise out of this one. Since this editor is still pretty new and the first excercise is rather simple. The idea is to let units walk into a formation. It can be a simple square with marines or some kind of crazy you made up with thors, infestor or zergling riding sharks.
Anyhow, I don't know if a week will be enough for cinematics, but if it turns out that it's not enough it will be exended by a week.
Out of curiosity, is there any benefit to using this instead of regular triggers?
Well, you can instantly see your result without starting up the game and cinematics don't use pre-placed units as triggers do. Can't think of anything else as I've never used triggers to make cinematics.
Terrans hold the line in every situation.
When they train before a battle - they HOLD THE LINE!
When they face an enemy - they HOLD THE LINE!
When they tactically flee - they also HOLD THE LINE!
These three marines are in a line formation :D
Update:
Attachement removed: cutscene was broken and didn't have its cameras and terrain. May be it is normal and cutscenes don't have to include terrain, don't know.
Still I got video saved before closing editor - it is coming soon (:
I do this like this:
1. Launch cutscene editor
2. File -> Open Cutscene and then select the cutscene.
Then just search for proper cameras and click play :)
Oh, tried to do this with mine attached - it is broken >_< Custom camera and terrain didn't save T_T
Brood is just mad because I said Telthalion's ice terran is cooler than his =P.
I'm liking that first marine submission, though I didn't expect that - I expected them to run from left to right off-screen and then return from right to left with the ling following afterwards. Want moar. DO IT!

If you're not famailer yet with the cutscene editor, I suggest you take a look at Zelda's tutorial or Blizzards official documentation.
Maybe a formation is little too simple?
