My issue is quite simple: Loading terrain does nothing. Activating a cutscene does nothing. Messing around with options doesn't help either. The only way to get anything to show up in the custcene editor is to manually add models to the scene from the list, which is useless when it comes to modifying pre-existing cutscenes, or making cutscenes that need to make use of the map terrain.
Did anyone else have the same/similar issues, and were you able to fix them, and if yes how?
Solution:
In the CSE, go to Render->Show Ground and enable "terrain"
To make doodads show up, make sure that under "File->Map Import" placed objects is checked, have the terrain editor open, then import map data (Button in the top bar, looks like the terrain editor icon with an arrow)
Do you have Render->Show Ground->Terrain active? That might be why the terrain is not showing up. But the cutscene I've no idea. They don't even activate? Maybe try the repair tool?
That fixed it, thanks a lot :) I forgot to try it with the terrain editor open the second time. Gonna add a summary of the solutions to the first post because someone else is bound to run into the same issues.

Right, both work now with that option checked. I guess the patch must have unchecked it >.> I hate it when my settings get reset...
Doodads aren't showing up though D:
