So i've decided to show off my FX work, now that i've got past most of the technical limitations that i've had for a long time, take in some feedback, perhaps take requests, and other stuff.

Here's my latest explosion iteration, which has taken a big chunk of my time.

I'm not going to release the explosion assets just yet, but i will definitely release all of the textures i made to make the explosion in the near future.

Yes, that's how particle emitters work, the gif has iirc 4 different variations.... on 60 fps might i add :D

Now that i'm sorta done with that explosion, i thought "why not make it cartoony?", so that's exactly what i did.

 I rly like the second one better, although there is a lot of "Black".

Yep, getting that a lot, i can make it gray/dark grey, but it'd probably be a bad idea VRAM-wise.

 Since this is probably based on a flipbook, you can make a alpha channel the makes it a little transparent no ?
