They are slightly recolored I think. So in a way its still true :)
In relation to the GoldenAge Immortal, what color is preferred? I know that the other units from the last warchest retain a purple hue, but I also think green would fit them.
While I normally love the green / grey color scheme of the Nerazim units, especially in combination with blue team color, I think that purple fits better for these, but both are really cool :)
As a continuation of the showcasing of the Talon Faction in-game I have several news videos up on youtube. A new example below for the Forgers. I hope to show some of the unique traits of each faction in several games (also where I somtimes lose XD)
As you can see, also the AI uses some of the new units and abilities in order to spice-up some skirmishing with the computers as well.
Feels like I had to do something in modeling scope again. Yesterday I did have a spot of time. I wanted to create something that carried the name "Gradius" not really sure why this was stuck in my head, but I slingshot some aircrafts together and ... poof!
[Edit]: Added download link and image for Davespectre122's Paladin hero: Elkyrian the Tormentor. Also I forgot about Kahlani, she's also receiving an update.
@ Edhriano: Thanks mate!
In the mean time I'm happy to say that some more models are migrated to the Talon Assets Page.
Also my newest hero Gradius II is joining the Talon Armada.
Davespectre122 has a Paladin hero in the works that will also be featured. --> Davy mate! My absolute thanks!!!
With pleasure I introduce: Elkyrian the Tormentor. Uploaded now and awaiting approval, should be available shortly
And next to that the earlier released model of The Dark Crown, created by Alleyviper shall be graced with an accompanying portrait and some unit icons. So be sure to look out for it when it comes.
Last but not least, Kahlani has received some tweaking and will also be re-uploaded soon.
Got some new stuff in the works. For the campaign I'm working on (And yes.. hefty slow) there's some new stuff there. first, the map highlights the 'Infusion mechanic' from the mod, providing a range of altered models for several units.
There's even some map specific stuff there. (last image bottomright)
Infusion Units
Next I'm working on a new unit for the Talon Mod, also for the Biocrafters subfaction. For this faction I wanted to add in a new flyer, but unlike the Talon have up to know, I wanted this in the form of an infantry-type unit, and staying with the theme the sets the Biocrafters apart, its also a unit affected with infusion technology... I give you the Crystalwing [wip]
And last but not least I'm also working on some models that I also plan to use in a map for the Campaign, probably next mission.
They shall also be released as kitbashes, because I'm not planning on touching all units in the Protoss ranks.
Hope you guys like whats coming. I'm not quite sure when I'mm go about and release the models. some of them are also still in WIP.
Hm.. considering that all protoss have an innate ability to levitate to a degree (high templar-like units being strongest at it), I'm kinda not fancying the crystal wings.. they feel lill too magical.. i'd make them little more pylon-like, so it looks like protoss tech, amplifying the already considerable ability of said protoss :)
I quite like those crystals, maybe they don't have to be wings at all, if the name would change :D It's part of the biocrafters and those are infused with the crystals, so I think it fits well, maybe those crystals boost the levitation power :O I think that changing them to more pylon-like would of course make the unit more standart-protoss like, but I think that the point of making a faction is to make it different from the normal units. Just my thoughts tho ...
The Crystalwings are a product of the infusion experiments first executed on Adept warrior that had gone missing/or were reported killed during conflicts internally or with other Protoss factions. They were stripped from their glaive cannons and their backwings are heavily modified to generate a local anti-gravitational field allowing for low-altitude flight. The crystalline structure that the Adept warriros were infused with have taken shape much representing a set of wings, allowing Adepts to more naturally redirect and adjust their manoeuvrability. Through the still available psionic abilities the Crystalwing can 'breakaway' tiny shards of the crystalline structure and use arm mounted tethers to 'throw' these shards much like a barrage onto its targets. The latent self-replication properties of the crystal will restore the broken structure in time.
Admittingly, it may not be fleshed out entirely, but this was the general idea for the Crystalwing.
As said, the model is still in WIP and several pieces and effects I still have to do.
[Edit]: @ Davespectre, with reards to the Stalkers running laserlines: no, these are custom created.

Could you do a talon / purifiers version of the stone zealot?
That'd be cool.

Hi Edhriano XD. Yup.
If I recall correctly that one comes in handy for you right :)
It hasn't changed much tbh, just some minor tweaking and completing with icons and such.
Also, just uploaded, The Dark crown is also completed with portrait and icons.

A new Hero is on the horizon.

The background lore I had in mind is as follows:
The Crystalwings are a product of the infusion experiments first executed on Adept warrior that had gone missing/or were reported killed during conflicts internally or with other Protoss factions. They were stripped from their glaive cannons and their backwings are heavily modified to generate a local anti-gravitational field allowing for low-altitude flight.
