For these days, finally we finished this map, now it's online in Chinese server and I am trying my best to translate it into English. We use numbers of your BGM and they really fit the game well. You guys can see the process video through the below links. I and my partner NanaKey want to say thanks for all your help. You will also find you name in the CG of credits.
Btw, for now the videos and introductions are still Chinese, we will update them as soon as the English version is ready.
Looks fantastic I will definitely be playing that. I totally loved that intro cinematic, who made that? In fact I'm super impressed by everything in your map. That game is epic. About time someone made a decent platform map. Great work to you and your partner.
Hey, congrats for finishing it. You guys work realy fast. And the game look great! I'd play the shit out of it when I was a kid. And I'm pretty pleased that you used my music, and I'm agree it fits. But also I can't help feeling a bit ashamed, because I suck at making music sound good, and it doesn't sound professionaly ;/
Btw, I'm still working on that music that I'm making specially for you. It's not going too fast, but one day I'll finish and let you listen it.
We hope you enjoy yourself in this game. Plz share your suggestions with us.
And since we finished the map, I can start to create some new models such as characters and spaceships, the last one is a new "strange" model, just for test.
My partner did these, she wrote a 2D-logical engine herself to simulate all these effects, I just created models and animations, so I don't understand details in fact, sorry.
Now we are moving on new subjects. Here is a new test for technology. I used RTT to link the missile and screen, we hope we can control the missile through the screen and hit the target.
WTF It's Anakin Skywalker hahahaha. Go and kill the Empire :) Now we only need a black Marine and it's Darth Vader. EDIT: How can yo do it ? I'm new to SC2 Art Tools and I'd like some tutorials hahaha.
Alright I gotta say it's pretty sick to have a melee marine. I just have 2 minor critiques/request.
1. When you add the cover animation the shield does shrink a crap load but it is still somewhat visible if you really look..
2. Would it be possible to have a version without the light saber and shield?
Optional
3. Add a single melee .m3a for a marine with a rifle ( I see many uses for this beyond just mine).
I added some GL animations, trackers and cover animations, now your requests are fixed. But I don't suggest you to share this model to the beginners of starcraft2 editor, it's much harder to control the light saber and shield in the editor than the first one. The multiple GL animations need "AnimGroupApply A/B" in actor to shift the mode. (I can't explan clearly, I am not good at this either.)
How are these attachments made? is it like in war3, you just place the model in the center of X Y Z to be 0 in 3ds max then you use the attachment point of the marine and attach it via actor message, data or anything. Or does adding the attachment require something more complex, I know you had to modif the weapon, just asking about the way you add an attachment to unit.
Maybe we need a special model as an example to explan this. Most attachments called Ref_xxx are just like what you said. Some other attachments called Vol_xxx can control an area.
Since my friend seraphlio start to create his new race, maybe I need a fleet to fight back... Otherwise his war machines will slave my friendly peaceful race... Remote Lobsters, taste the missiles and death lights from Space Frogs.
When showing your models as renders, it's always better to do 3 point lights setup. One main, one from the side and one from the back.
That way you won't have GI/AO mash on your geometry and will actually see all the detail on there.
From what I see here, there's not much to be shown but just as a friendly tip for the future ;)

Hi, TheHolyArk
You can download the original map and mods here. We will upload this map to most servers in few days (and also a surprise), don't worry.
I jreaded a marine with a light saber.
Hi everyone, one of my friend just asked me to add a melee weapon for terran marine, so I changed the rifle to my light saber.
Maybe it looks a little strange and not very cool, just have a look~
Please release that. That is totally bad ass! Plus I've been looking for a melee marine.

OK, I'll upload this model here. Next time when I release the second "NanaKey and Delphinium's Mod" I will also add this.

Complex, but powerful. This technology can help moderator controlling details of models, and instituting rules about how this model should be used.
