It's what it says on the tin. Once more, as I have no projects actively demanding dialogue, this is largely an engineering demo. It contains newer versions of Sethis, which I showed the initial rendition of in the previous demo, unused lines from various takes for the Anahn admiral in Black Sun: Salvation Episode 0 which I also posted here a while ago, some conceptual unit responses, and some initial DyiithJhinn effects testing using non-canon lines.
Hey, you have a great voice, you don't need a billion effect to modify it !
Look at Aldaris of SC1, his voice was great, yet he really had a minimal effect added to his voice.
The first one especially need some effects removed !
Some of the voices, especially the variants of Sethis, are based very heavily on effects. As I end up doing most of the voice work in any of my projects I need ways to differ the voice whereas they would all sound much too alike. This then means I have to resort to effects. That said, nothing is considered final, especially Sethis.
Hey, I'm sure you're a good voiceactor, you can lightly modify your voice and, that added to the effects, your voice wouldn't be recognized.
Example, Jack Ristchel was in fact voiceacting Artanis / Templar / Zeratul / Edmund Duke. Yeah, nobody could have figured this out without reading idmb
Also, the one dubbing the Battlecruiser, Ghost, and Marine are the same person. Crazy, right ?
What I'm afraid of, is that relying too much on effects would make the audio cheap and lower the quality of the immersive effect, among other things. Some will agree that the Protoss of Wings of Liberty have that problem to a ridiculous level.
(Just listened out the whole thing, you really are good at voiceacting, as the second one prove it)
Yes, I understand this logic well. Sethis is the most extreme example of editing I can provide because of the nature of the character. He is basically a dragon comprised of pure energy, and most of his dialogue would be simple dragon stuff, and every now and then very distorted words.
The original Sethis, if you heard the earlier demo of him, was even more heavily edited than this one, and I reduced several effects due to feedback from my viewers. I will continue to tweak the voice and perfect it.
The reason I am using such massive effects is, again, because I would be voicing more like 50-60 main characters at once in the project concept Sethis is for and I really wanted a way to make him very unique. As I become more comfortable with his voice I will probably end up dropping the effects more, as I did Asmodaeus (in the previous demo).
I believe I posted in your original post where some grave voice was being played. The effects now are much better than what I remembered.
Dragons ? So its not a starcraft project ?
You should totally lend your voice to big incoming projects. I'm sure plenty of large projects need some voiceacting.
Ever considered becoming a professional one ? huhu.
No, I haven't ever made a project based in starcraft's universe. All of my sc1 mods were based on my own writing, and I don't plan to do anything with starcraft 2 at all currently.
I only consider doing voice work for projects that are nearly finished or are already finished. Too many times have I done considerable work for people only to have it wasted. If people have a project that fits these requirements then they can contact me, but as I've yet to see any major projects reach completion in the last 5-6 years...
I don't want to become monetarily involved in anything I do so, no, I have no intentions of going "professional". I have turned down cash offers in the past.

Before you ask - no, I don't take requests.
A little bit too much of a delay effect I think.... reduce the delay intervals and it will be nice.

On which voice...? The delays sound fine to me and I've yet to have someone say anything about those in particular.
