uhm, my english isnt good enough to understand this, but this is a "no" for a request model, right? (that still would show people how they are done) :P
There is a problem with livestream, by the way.
It seems the video where you made the boxes has been deleted. Only the part with the fancy colored trees is still there.. If you can still access it or if you have the vid saved somewhere on your computer, could you upload it to, say, youtube or blib.tv?
You can't make animations of imported models work in SC2 right now. So if your character is supposed to move, you gotta wait until the tools allow animations.
Would be great, i would really like to know how to export and also I would like to see why you dont have any shading problems on your model like those for example. http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/5067/94837407.png
sry, but i just saw that your models also have that shading issue
I'd recommend going with either the ammo box from the end of the campaign, the one with the cool looking screen, if you remember it, (for those of you who aren't that far yet, no, that isn't a spoiler of some sort. lol), a barricade, or a weapon of some sort. I don't have any plans for these items, I just thought they'd be cool looking and someone might be able to use them in a project. Or maybe something flowing, I was curious how that worked. How to not make something static, like.. if you have a ribbon tied to your head and you start running, the tail will flow, you know what I mean? Either way, I hope you find something. I think it's awesome that you're helping people.

i know that animation does not work yet, but thats no reason for not doing a model :>
animations can be added later, and i could find someone for this..
make a 3d model of the best thing ever

Lol Bifuu.
Im not going to make any suggestions because I got my suggestion made already and+ I am going to try and model my own stuff now.
I'd like to know how to make flexibel stuff like hair and robes for a model. Demonstration on a SC2 model like marine or berserk would fit.
Maybe as an addition into the texture topic: How to make costum teamcolor textures for those gimmics.
I'm just getting hold of the basics, so I'm not the best to give suggestions, but I'd like to see something like this

That's my first work ^.^
should i restart this now that sc2 went retail?

Samo, that guy doesnt have problems ? Then I might be doing something wrong... ccc
Just do it! :D

Yea you should.
PS: Some basic animations would be fine. Like a door or box opening.

I really think we need a Chewbacca model. I don't think my life would be complete without it.
would love if you did these live streams again.
