I was fooling around with the WoW Model Viewer and decided to try to bring some WoW into the SC2 World, with funny results... It's fun to have little General Vezaxes running around. >_> I managed to fool around and import the sound files too, so he does his "The Black Blood of Yogg-Saron" yell thing on attack command too!
Wireframes are basically alpha'd images that colorize dependant on unit status. It's been awhile since I've done one (See: Modded Star Trek Armada 2), but when I have free time I could probably sit down and write something up.
As for the model itself, did the anims port at all or is it static?
He has his walk, run and attack animations, but I can't seem to get his death animation to work - He just disappears, and doesn't do his long fall-over thing. I made sure that his death time was 6sec, just like the animation's length, but he still disappears and the area is just shown for 6 seconds.
Edit: In the previewer, he has 5 animations: Stand, Attack 1, Attack 2, Attack 3 Death and Walk animations - so I know his Death one is there, just don't know how to make it use it for his death.
You shouldn't, alot of the campaign models have death animations integrated into the model (see TaurenSpaceMarine.m3 for an example of this). I'm not sure how it's achieved through the editor, but it's possible to do without having more than one model.
Yeah, my brother just showed me my mistake. I still had his death actors as "Ultralisk Death", when they should have been just "Ultralisk", which has all the parts of Vezax's animations. Thanks guys!

I used the wireframe of a hybrid above his health display - haven't figured out how to create those yet. I basically copied an Ultralisk and changed up its models, after importing the WoW models, as per http:forums.sc2mapster.com/mapping-utilities/third-party-tools/7790-world-of-warcraft-model-m2-exporter-for-m3/#posts I can only imagine the possibilities that WoW models bring to SC2 map editing! >_>

@Chite:
you might need to use a 2nd model just for the death animation. as most units refer to a 2nd model for their deaths

just search in your unit data for "Ultralisk Death" (if you didnt changed the name to vezax or something) and set the model to the vezax.m3
u can import a custom .tga for the wireframe
