I work on a Custom GUI for my game and I have some strange Problems.
I created a 132x132px Texture and imported it. In the Trigger Editor I created a Modal Dialog and added a image with the size of 132x132 to it. But the image is smaller (122x122) and has a lower quality that in the preview. I test it on the highest screen resolution but still the texture is to small and the quality is not that good.
I export the image as a .dds file with the DXT5 ARGB 8bpp | interpolated Alpha settings and nothing more. Is there something else I maybe have missed?
Edit: Try using TGA with those resolutions below. TGA is more multi platform
I dindt digged into the game textures what resolutions they use but these are the standards.
Please Corrent me if im wrong, But while testing Resolutions of textures like 122x or 123x textures fail they scale it to 64x etc..
only thing i know is only 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048 max 8192x8192 will work.64x128 1024x2048 etc will also work
Remember: Videocards are capped to 8192x8192 Textures so you have to be careful how many hi-res textures you use or you may run out of texture pool space.

Hey, thank you for our reply. I tried it with 128px textures. Set also the size to 128x128 and saved it as .tga
Same problem. Now the textures displayed are 115px in size. so there are 13x13mising and I changed around everything. Still more confused than smarter xD.
I added another texture. Same problem.Looks like I really miss something.
What happents if you have 128x texture and add the 13x missing to 128x so you will get 141x141?
Just keep the script how it is at 128x but add 141 texture. This might be a dirty fix for quick testing but there must be a better way.
Blizzard textures are not always the standart image sizes, many icon etc.. are often in the seventies. The Achievmentpictue blocks are 912x912 and an image 152x152. The standart Texturesize is not in stone.

I tryed that already. It looks more thats exponential size change. Do you know a tutorial where someone explains implementation of textures? I only find stuff for terrain. Not really what I need. Hm.. but thanks four your help!
Hey and thank you. That's interesting. Do I have to make the texture bigger and/or the size values specified in the "Dialog - Image for Dialog" settings.
I made a bigger texture. Instead of 512x512 I made one with 865x865 but no combination worked.

I tried now with variables. Still the same:

A 76x76 image is about 45 x 45 when on the Blizzard UI.
With your 132x132 image you want to set it at: 223x223 for size in the UI.
So if you want exact you need to take the image size multiply it by 1.688888888888889, round down or up your choice.

Make the texture the size you want, the Dialog - Image needs to be 1.689x larger to be 1:1 size.
@LemonKing: Go Soooo I finally got it. Thank you LemonKing. but it didn't work with 1.689x I had to increase the Dialog Image with 1,110629.
