Hey guys, not sure if this has been asked before but every time I use the M3 plugin for max to export a file, when I import it into the map editor the model always looks like this:
You should put the texture inside a folder named Textures which should be inside a folder named Assets. Then import Assets. Also, the textures have to be either tga or dds.
Be sure you have DDS or TGA Texture Files. I Recommen to use TGA Files.
Check screen below you have put your textures in the Assets/Textures folder.
If you have a other path.. example: Textures/Walker/ you need place your textures in the folder Textures/Walker
Anyways here is lil information about the export settings what I use.
The way I got the colossus texture to show up was to import the textures first, save, then import the model. But as you can tell the texture is there but covered up by this extreme glow still; I have no idea where that is coming from. Any more help would be appreciated, thanks.
Yes Sir; Starcraft2 Material and Starcraft 2 Bitmap.
EDIT:
Okay I figured out what the problem was. "Emissive Map" was set to "Render Alpha Only" and I had cleared the alpha map out of the original Colossus emissive map so the entire model was being affected by the Emissive.

No matter what texture is used I get the same result. Anyone know whats going on? Cool effect but not what I was really going for :-)
Thanks
