That's kind of late. Also it's been proven that the leg size don't matter with the brutalisk.
Not to mention the fact there are no known vertebrates with more than four limbs, and an invertebrate could not realistically reach that size. So even without the legs, it is impossible by our standards.
although the zerg would never make a king of blades because in insect hives or colonies the matriarchs rules supreme.... star craft would have been pretty gay if sarah had to rescue infested raynor the king of blades. Hell there would be no lets save him and make him.... t would be boom head shot!!!! I'm moving on to find another man :)
The laws of nature within a science fiction environment don't apply...especially when they extends beyond our own planet. That aside, we have amazing things upon this world that are deceptive in nature... Spider silk is one of the strongest compounds upon Earth, and were we able to produce a pencil sized strand...it could take down a commercial air flight. Then you have monkeys, who's extremely lithe looking arms rival the strongest of humans in strength. I won't even get into the more bizarre and seemingly unpractical aspects of nature, such as the Echidna and their manly bits...
Taking into account that this Tyrant was, undoubtedly, not derived from any Terran species, Terran meaning Earth rather than the in game variant, it's a strong possibility that the compounds in which compose its bulk are geared towards things that we, here on Earth, simply don't have. The entire skeletal structure and chitin carapace could be composed of some extremely durable but lightweight material, and the muscular structure advanced in ways we can't theorize to support such upon seemingly frail limbs...much like the Brutalisk, as was pointed out previously. Look at ants...extremely tiny, and yet they can support massive amounts of weight and avoid being crushed relatively easy.
The laws of nature are more complex than you might realize.
OP:
Excellent work on both models, though I do agree with those whom claim that the visage of the Tyrant seems a bit too...dopey, within an adorable manner? It's not really that big of a deal, but if it could be rendered a bit more vicious in appearance...I think that might help considerably. Even as is though, the creature is truly awesome and an excellent work of art on par with that of Blizzard themselves.
As for the Harbinger, I see absolutely nothing on that in which I would change. I would like to make a suggestion though, for something to add onto the model in order to potentially spruce it up even further. Some suggested something similar to Kerrigan's bone wings, but I think that something else could render the unit more unique and grant a flare of individuality...
How about some sort of pulsing growth upon the back, and from that growth extends two tendrils which wrap around each arms within a coiled sort of manner to connect upon elongated claws formed of the index fingers. So, basically, each index finger would be extended into a more dexterous blade-like appendage that connects to a tendril-like tube coiled about the arm and terminating upon a strange organ upon the backside. Now, color various areas of that organ a glowing team color, and you have a poison gland...which feeds poison through the coils and into the extended finger. I think I made that far more complicated, in literary format, than was needed...but I think you get what I mean no?
Will you consider putting these models up for download or can I email you to use them. I really would like to use these in a custom map and I would give in-game credit within unit descriptions on dialogs.
@WraithChaser: Go

Harbringer...meh.
@ilivinhell: Go
What do you mean meh for Harbinger? It's a male Kerrigan, that is badass. Sure not as badass as Kerrigan but still badass.

The attack could be caustic, dealing DOT.
The harbinger reminds me of the collector from Mass Effect 2.

I am also quite interested in the Zerg Tyrant Model. PM me please if your able to share it with me. Thanks.
@Dardanos_Of_Fate: Go He created the model back in 2010, never released it. Do you think he will PM you?
