I like the harbringer a little more then the tyrant. But the quality of both is amazing.
Harbringer seems to be the male infested kerrigan? (sadly some wings missing... but i dislike the very fragil looking wings on the infested kerrigan so not much of a lose)
I think i doesn't like the tyrant as much as the harbringer cause of it's proportions... very big and very tiny elements... looks not so zergish too me somehow... but well the model itself is amazing too =)
Keep it up, want to see some more cool zergs soon. ;)
I do modeling on occasion and know how hard it is to create anything that is animated and textured effectively, not to mention a degree such as this. Great work!
Edit: animation from crypt lord, amazing none the less, would be nice to know what tools you used to get the animations over to maya seeing as the art tools for wc3 were for a really old version of max :(.
The skin looks much better with the detail on the claws, legs and spines now.
Maybe make his eyes glow a little? Most Zerg units have glowing eyes (Zergling, Muta, Ultra).
Also, just being curious, how large is the model+textures in a SC2 map (so compressed size)?
The tyrant looks like the second scary melee boss from diabilo II i really like it =D (the name was tal' rasha right?) Wish I had the program for the blender plugin...what program do you have to have in order to use the blender plugin from assets? or if you didn't use that then what program did you use?
That looks amazing. I really love the detail on the exoskeleton/armour around the head. Pure awesome.
Wish that the armour around the legs and claws war a little sharper around the edges though and not so rounded and curved. The head is unmistakably Zerg but the rest of the body still looks very crustacean and doesn't have the menacing edge of the head. Also, wish there was just more armour all around, especially along the sides and tail. I can so imagine using the data editor to attach the queen's back spines/claws.
His face has a very big problem. Its looks like he's a total dofus xP
Also, his legs are still very, very small at their connection to the body. Anatomical its totally impossible for a body of that size to walk around with this tiny leg-bones. It wouldn't carry him.

Besides that its looking very good.
Imo, his eyes head arent that visible for distance.
Legz are ok... how its impossible, this is zerg unit, its Fiction. As long it looks ok its not impossible.
Dont compare their anatomy with humans.
This is quality work. Fits SC2 as its made by Blizzard.
Now it definitivly looks cooler than brutalisk.
Yeah, I must admit the legs are still too small. From the top it wont be seen but it'd be cool to change that. But that's really the only downside I see in this great model.
@tigerija: Go Yeah, that was the first thing I have recognized :D
Good job at them!
Damn nice job dude!

Absolutely amazing.
Hey all, just following up with a small update on the Tyrant. It's still a WIP, but progress is progress :)

Make his eyes more, pointed out. Clean it a bit maybe. And create batter "shading" around the eye eh ?
Tho its ok how it is but you can probbly improve it.
Good looking model.

Huuuuuuh, Duriel, right. It looks a bit like him, really. haha
Here's a few more angles of the beast in Marmoset

@.@ That looks more like art now then a model in a game.
@Triceron: Go

I think that some animation preview would be ok. So we can give better feedback.
looks great. now make me a defiler ! ;)
