Well, I recently dowloaded a Cerebrate custom model, but I don't know a lot about using custom models, I already imported the model to the map, the dds files in assets/textures/ and then the m3 in no specific order, but then I don't know how to use the models, can someone explain a bit or send me a tutorial? Thanks.
- After importing all the assets into your map, SAVE.
- Open the Data Editor (F7) then open a new tab Edit Art and Sound Data => Models
-Choose the name of the unit (model) that you want to replace and goto the Art:Model field
-Double click the field entry and choose browse
-select your new model, and your done
- After importing all the assets into your map, SAVE.
- Open the Data Editor (F7) then open a new tab Edit Art and Sound Data => Models
-Choose the name of the unit (model) that you want to replace and goto the Art:Model field
-Double click the field entry and choose browse
-select your new model, and your done
but look for the portrait model
example: for the zergling theres a "Zergling" Entry and a "Portrait - Zergling" Entry

@Kazor132: Go
You've pretty much done the "difficult" part.

-Choose the name of the unit (model) that you want to replace and goto the Art:Model field
