Yeah, I figured that the new format for the archives would take some doing. It's good to know the importer doesn't need to be touched, though (at least not yet). I'm interested mostly in the new character models and some of the revised mobs (particularly if they redo the Silithids and any of the dragons, felhound, etc).
They are coming out pretty well with your settings. Pretty comparable to the Tera stuff I have been porting. Maybe I'll need to pay more attention to that expansion... could be a lot of useful things in there.
Did the character model UV's change? Or are they still the same system they are using in vailla-mop? Changing those would entail changing all of the armor textures, so I imagine not, but...

Problem is here that I don't know if the current SC2 engine supports the new m3 models from Heroes of the storm.
Why because the current M3 importer into MAX fails when importing a model.
Also the tool I got for extracting the models does not name them, they are all extracted as some guid (ex.: 0007618630D9022BD34C615B0C0D2AC3.m3)
the textures are the same.. so mapping a texture to a model would probably cost me at least a day to find the correct texture.
You have, by any chance a screeny of the ship you want?

Does NiN's importer still work with new format m2's or did you have to write something new?
No, for the importer into max, I didn't rewrite anything
to get the extraction done and the naming of the objects, that required some serious coding :p

changed the flaming eyes on the weapon, see image, and added a ribbon when the attack and attack 2 animation happens
