I have made all attack waves by triggers. Should I remake all my attack waves to AI editor? To me AI editor seems mostly a interface to make attack waves. Example of my current attack wave trigger above. If I start to use AI editor does it add any real advantage? Is it techically same thing as using triggers?
I haven't seen anything in it that can't be done by triggers. It seems to be just a nice interface to speed up making and testing attack waves. Don't bother remaking old completed stuff with it, but consider using it in the future if working with trigger-made attack waves makes you want to kill someone.
The AI Module may also add some improved performance vs using triggers. Proving that the AI Module offers CPU benefit is a hard task. Either way you can do more with triggers than with the AI Module. Blizzard described its purpose as being a easy way to visualize attack waves.
I personally suggest using the AI Module for setting up the basic stuff and once you need some fine tuning switch over to triggers. Both should work together hand and hand if it set up right.
i think if they took all the Unit data, AI data, and Advanced AI data in the triggers and ADDED it to the AI module it would be 1000% better so you could do it all pretty much from 1 spot. just a thought :D.
AI - Add to attack wave function is also problematic when you have two AI players of the same race, since you cannot specify which player gets the AI wave.

The Ai Editor was used to send attack waves for multiple HotS campaign maps including, at the very least, Waking the Ancient and the Zergling Evolution map. (The two maps I got around to looking at)

I agree thats what i would like as well but considering everything in 1.5.0.... I have no problems at all with the improvements
AI editor is better (else Blizzard wouldn't have created this new tool) and allows to have triggers cleaner.
I agree Upcios............

Does it matter? People do search for info you know.

I tried to use AI editor a few times but never got very into it. There's also only like one good tutorial on it.
Edit: What's also funny is I think I've only seen it used in one Blizzard campaign mission too. The last HoTS Korhol one (or maybe it was all three).
