I made a Model Actor, attached the Zerg Building Death model to it, and set it to be created when a morph happens.
However, the actor (model) follows the unit around. I'd like it to stay in the point where it was created. (Preferably with data and not triggers)
Thanks for any help :)
Bump, I really do not want to rely on the triggers for this. I must be missing something that does not attach the actor.
Bump, please help.
Hi, there,
Sorry that I misunderstood your request, the best way is to create a Trigger with the following:-
Event : Unit Uses Ability (Your morph Ability)
Condition : Unit Type of (Triggering Unit) == (The Unit that uses the morph ability)
Action : Create model (Your model) at Point (Specify the point -> eg. Position of (Triggering Unit))
Thanks. Hopefully, this solves your problem. Feel free to ask if you have any further issues.

Hello, I was wondering if you can do this without using triggers?
Having an extra trigger running just for this seems like a waste, but if nothing else ill settle with it :/
Anyhow, thanks for your response!
Under the SOps used by the model type actor check it has no SOp(Attachment) type site operation.
Do not use the ModelAddition parent. Use a Model Animation One Shot.
