as the title says I have a question about decals. I have some custom decals from here (UED, Confederacy) but when I use the UED decal for my race and I go and play the map my in-game decal (the sons of korhal one) shows up underneath the UED one. is there a way around this?
can you post a picture as to what I am looking for in the town center actor events please? I still rusty with the world editor as I have not really done any map making for sc2 until now.
as far as the textures go I have the texture named as decal_terran_UED and decal_terran_UED GOLD.
again I really never use the editor before so I am kinda lost
Using the Nexus as an example you will find at the far bottom of the events a Create action on Unit Birth that creates the PlayerLogoDoodadList which is an Actor List type actor. This actor in turn based on the player number creates Logo_DoodadSearch actors which are Region (Circle) type actors that use Logo_DoodadQuery actors that are Query Response type actors that target Model type actors created by the ProtossPlayerDecalMacro (Unnamed) actor of the Event Macro type. The Models also make a Doodad Effect Spawner type actor remove foliage. Finally the actor Logo_PlayerPrimaryMacro (Unnamed) of the Event Macro type does the texture swapping based on a signal received from the query response.
ok so I removed the event but when testing the command center the model is flickering? I using the ued mod from this site not sure if that is the problem
All actors have the Actor: Aliases field. This field is for adding strings that can be shared by multiple actors so they are recognised as equivalent for hosting and receiving actor messages.

Check your town center actor events that it is not creating the terran decal splat. Also how have you named your texture?

ok I found the event but now I am completely lost. can you post pictures of what I need to do? I am very sorry I am just completely confused.
Find the similar actor event on your structure and remove it.

I almost looks like it is flickering from the normal cc to the ued one when I remove the event

not sure because I using in my map the UED mod so it modifies the units and such with a trigger and custom race system
