I want to create an effect, the deals damage to a target, and only IF the target dies from the damage effect, sends a missile to the caster, healing it.
The only thing I need help with, is to make launch the effect, if the target dies.
Make the first missile apply a behaviour that has a death response which sends activates the heal missile. Have the behaviour have a really short duration.
Or use a Target is dead validator on the launch missile effect. Make sure it gets executed after the damage effect; you might possibly need a small delay if it doesn't consider the unit to be dead immediately after taking damage (if you do, you might just as well go with the behavior).
It works. I created 2 validators (based of the Is Dead and Not Dead) and set the unit to the target unit of my damage effect, then created a switch effect and inserted the validators.

It should only work for that specific damage effect, so it would not work if there were more units casting it at the same time.
