I made MMO style map and melee charcator
but the melee's skill(ability) is different from normal MMO.
I have 2 Questions.
1. I want to add melee skill to normal-attack's swing.
But in my map, ability is implemented as soon as clicked. regardless of weapon's speed.
I want thing is, When player click the skill button, the skill is implemented next weapon swing.
2. I want to making global-cooltime.
One ability is implemented, then other ability will require global-cooltime.
ex) A unit has A, B, C, D ability. the unit implements A ability. after 1.5 sec, B, C, D ability will possible
1. I advise using a transient Effect - Instant ability with a prepare time comparable to how often your unit attacks which then applies a hidden Buff behaviour with a Combat - Damage Response - Handled dealing your desired effect and Combat - Damage Response - Location set to attacker so it is applied when your unit attacks. Give the buff a relatively short duration and a cooldown in the Combat - Damage Response - Cost+ fields so that it is not applied to multiple attacks.
2. To get the cooldown to be shared between abilities you need to give them the same ID string in the Cost - Cost - Cooldown - Link field and the degree of sharing is set in the Cost - Cost - Cooldown - Location field.
