My question is: How on earth can i make the korhal bridge(Doodad) to function like the other unit bridges (Units). Units wont walk over doodads. So...why on earth did blizzard put an awsome bridge like the korhal bridge in the doodad section. I would like to know how can i use that bridge so the units would walk over it.
I don't have the editor open at the moment, but can't you essentially place the bridge over regular terrain? Then the units are technically walking over terrain, but it looks like they're walking on a bridge. There's also an option in the terrain area to hide terrain, so that you can essentially make the floor invisible.
Alternatively, they added some cool "Invisible Platform" doodads that you can place at the same level as the bridge; they would be walking over the invisible doodads but visually it would appear that they are walking over the bridge.
Don't forget to change the pathing under the bridge to make it pathable.
Else give your bridge a pathable footprint. I used the concept in this old map of mine. As stated in the above post some models will require the use of the invisible platform model to keep the height constant
