In SC2, invulnerable is just a flag, similar to armored or biological. You can check for it or make weapons and spells exclude invulnerable targets, but if you don't, the units still take damage.
So you need to either consequently exclude invulnerable targets from all your damage effects, or you need to modify the actual damage the unit receives by using the Damage Response of the behavior.
As said above by Kueken531 you need a buff similar to the velerian02a hero KO buffs that prevent any damage taken ele stuff that is allowed to target the invulnerable flag will be able to affect the unit.

I've tried creating a buff where in the modication > behavior > state flags > invulable flag.
But when i add it to a unit by triggers they still die.. am I doing this wrong?
Try untargettable too. Im not at a computer right now so I can't actually test it for you, but it's worth a shot.
