i messed with the requierments area alot read about requierments and soem post here and there but cant seem to understand/get waht i want to work.

i want kerrigan as she starts out with gun then after so many kills it allows a morph ability to become the queen but i cant figure out how to do that.

i tryed requierments with "greater than or equal to, count unit - sara kerrigan - kills, constant 5" but that doesnt work. ive tryed setting it as diffrent unit then killed so that after she kills so many of another it allows it but that still doesnt work.

i read a thing saying to make it so that when a unit kills a unit it adds a behavior to that unit then set the requierment to a number of stacks of that behavior to unlock the ability. but it did not say how to amke it so a kill would apply a behavor and i have no idea how please help

I dont have a lot of time to explain but i think something like this is what you want:

1. make an ability that morphs kerrigan.( I would most likely steal zergling to bainling ability and modify).

2. Make a requirement that says the ability can be used once the unit has aquired a certain amount of kills. (look in the image) havent tested it though but i think its like that.

3. go to the ability and add the requirement you just made to it.

4. Add the ability to kerrigan command card.(ofc make sure u add it to the same unit u use as in the req)

i copyed the raptor morph ability as my basis and ive had that as a requierment already.

sara kerrigan (lab2) is my starter unit and when i mouse over the ability it says in red -sara kerrigan like i dont meet that requierment, and under that in regular color it says 5. but after she kill 5 6 20 it still stays greyed out.

i created a new requierment and set it the same as before and as described but it still says "-sara kerrigan" in red like its not being met

i chose the kerrigan that had lab 2 on it in unit selection part. and ive tryed it with other units. i set it to scout and zergling and it still showed red. for the second ability i did same thing but with kerrigan k-5 and its red for her to. i went to sara lab2 and checked alias but all her alias...pluralform... said the same as the requierment. except 2 but changing them to lab 2 alias didnt fix it. idk which alias i need to set there are so many. i set the techtree alias thing to alias kerrigan and then set the count unit alias to kerrigan but still didnt work. i dont understand what im doing wrong or whats missing

Wait wait wait. I never used that kills requirement, but I always thought that meant how many of that unit type the player killed. Are you sure you guys aren't trying to use it in the wrong way?

i cahnged the requierment from kills to total and it showed working but when i switched it back to kills it went back to not owrking

killed is same as kills for me kerrigan kill unit ability stays locked one of my kerrigans gets killed ability stays locked.

ik they are correct ones becuase when i use total of the ability is unlocked. ill try that tho. thx i spent alot of time with the map its my first not counting the doomed earth thing when i worked on adding the nukes back but this is my first skirmish map
