Im breaking my head over this one, it seems so ez but i just cant link it up right.
I have a buff behavior that has a 20% chance to increases attack speed by 60% for 3 seconds on every hit.
Then, i made an apply behavior for the buff.
i go back to the behavior, and i edit combat response. i set chance to 0.2 and set location to attacker. Handle is set to the behavior apply for the buff.
I then proceed to create a weapon set, i put the apply behavior buff and the attack itself together.
Nothing is happening, i tried with chance 1 just to see. Nothing. Ive been at this stupid abilitiy for hours now. What am i doing wrong?
What are the filters for the damage resonse? It should be a pretty straight forward case of unit has buff A, buff A has damage response on attacker that uses apply behavior on caster to apply buff B.

It was my understanding that Damage Response was strictly for incoming damage, not outgoing damage. Was looking all over for something that could trigger effects based on when the unit attacks in Behavior:Buff to no avail, do have a few ideas on how to make this work though:
Option 1: Is it important that this buff only be applied when the unit is attacking? If not, it would be a simple task to make the buff periodically use apply buff effect set to 0.2 chance of working.
Option 2: If it has to be when he attacks, and he is always using the same weapon, could simply have the weapon use a set with effects damage and apply behavior with 0.2 chance with a hasBuff validator.
Option 3: Could use a set w/ random set to true w/ 5 choices, 4 damages and 1 set w/ apply behavior and damage.
All of these options should work if done right honestly, is a trigger way as well, but is just too convoluted for me to bother mentioning, lol. If you do somehow find a way for a behavior to check to see if a unit has attacked and then use an effect do tell, be interested to know.
True, maybe he does need to insert a set effect between the damage response and the apply behaviour because of the buffs bugging when applying other behaviours.

Does the apply behaviour target the caster in the Unit - Unit - Value field?

3 seconds on the actual buff and no validators are set til i get it working.
I am at least on the right track correct? most of linked something wrong somewhere.
