Hello, I am trying to make an ice climbers type hero, you control Tosh and Nova follows you around, whenever Tosh uses an ability Nova is supposed to do the corresponding follow up ability, in this case a skill-shot, at the same target. The way I have my skill-shots set up (Using kuekens colliding projectile tutorial) they have a persistent effect with an offset to target the correct range when cast. I got it to the point where I can use the skill-shot with tosh and nova will use it as well, just not at the specified location, but instead right infront of her.
I tried multiple different ways to fix this and none of them have worked so far, I'm thinking I might be making things too complicated with my newest try, it goes like this:
Tosh uses ability and 3 things happen:
Dummy unit is spawned.
Tosh Skill-shot is sent.
Issue order Towards nova is sent.
Toshs issue order makes Nova perform a target search for the dummy unit.
Nova sends skill-shot at dummy unit and then kills dummy unit with second effect.
Isn't it easier to give Nova the same ability that Tosh has and then, on Tosh's variation of the ability, put a Issue Order effect which orders Nova to use the ability?
I can try to make this shit in a right way. Because from what i remember you dont even need a dummy unit and search area for this. It will cost a 3 likes however if i will succeed :()
I know you don't need a target unit, it just seemed the thing to do after the previous thigns didn't even work, anyway, all I really need to know is how to make an issue order which is sent via a search area to target the same spot as the ability that sent the search area.

2 Dummy units get created.
And thats it, nothing after that.

thsts what this is, but I can't get her to target correctly, so I tried this i stead, whch also doesn't work.
