Story: if you have a unit with the Medivac Upgrade model somehow makes any decals you assign to the unit appear white (some setting of the 3D model makes it so - it seems), even colored decals. So I decided to add some Site Operations to stamp a decal on the white decals by positioning them accurately, since I won't get a colorful decal without modifying the 3D Model..
I have a textured model I want to attach to two specific places on the unit as a decal. The unit is Medivac Upgrade, Im trying to attach the Model Actor to the left wing of the tail and to the right wing of the tail of the Medivac, kind of to cover the white decal. What is the most convenient way to do it?
So far I see I may have to make a Model Actor with a Positioning SOP specially to position to the left tail. another Model Actor with another SOp to position to the right tail. This is kind of inconvenient, can I use the same model actor to show once to the left tail, once to the right tail, without having to use a separate Actor for each of the two tails?
What would you suggest? Also a pitch SiteOps may be needed that can tilt the model, cause the tails are kind of tilted and not perfectly vertical.
