-Link to wiki about custom game attributes-
(Game) Game Mode
This option will set the game mode, there are three options to pick from
Private
Private will make the game private by default. People will not be able to join your game unless you invite them yourself
Public
This is the default option, anyone is able to join your game like normal.
Automated Match Making
No information on how this one works, please feel free to edit this
(Game) Game Speed
This will set the default speed the game will run at, the option are:
Slower, Slow, Normal, Fast, Faster.
(Game) Lobby Delay
This attribute is what sets the start time for a match. If set to 10, once the host hits start, the lobby will countdown for 10 seconds before starting.
(Game) Locked Alliances
Sets if alliances are locked or not
(Game) Premade Game
Options are Yes or no -Please fill in more information-
(Game) Rules
You can set game rules, you must first create game rules in order to pick, else the only option is "Default" -Needs info or a link on how to create game rules.-
(Game) Teams
Sets the team options.
- 2 Teams
- 3 Teams
- ...
- 11 Teams
- Free For All
- Customs Teams -What does this do exactly? Does it specify which of the following setups are used?-
(Game) Teams[Premade]
Creates premade teams, the options are as follows:
None, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6, FFA
(Player) Color
This option will set the default color for each player, please reference the Player Colors Wiki page for available colors.
(Player) Controller
This options has some interesting uses, its main use is to remove a player # from the game. For exmaple if player 3 is set to "closed" when players join the game, it will go player 1, 2, 4, 5...ect skipping the closed slot. -How does this work since we don't have access to player # based on position?-
(None)
-Needs information-
Closed
Closes the slot, so that no player can have that player #. This has good uses if you need to test play X when you are testing a map by yourself, you can "close" player 1, so you will be assigned player 2.
Open
This is the default option.
Computer
will put a "computer" AI in that slot in the lobby.
(Player) Difficulty
Sets the difficult level for the selected player or NPC. Options are as follows:
Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard, Insane.
-Needs information: is this only if melee AI is being used?-
(Player) Handicap
Sets the plays handicap defaults. 50%, 60%, ... , 100% -Needs information: What does this do exactly?-
(Player) Observer Type
Changes the type of Observer the player is, other than "none" there are two options. Note, this simply sets the type and will have no effect in game in a UMS map, the user will need to use triggers to explain what happens for these type of players. You may reference these triggers - Game Settings from the wiki
Spectator
This is a player type that will be able to view the game, but not play.
Referee
This type of player will not be playing the main game, but will be a Spectator who will also be able to rule over the game.
(Player) Participant Role
Lets you set a player as a participant or as a watcher.
(Player) Race
Allows you to specify which race each player is.
Note about (Player) Team
When setting a player's team and position you can set team, "Team 1" and player index, "Team 1 [1]". It is unknown what setting the index does.
