Turret

A Turret is a way to tell the engine how it should make certain units behave in terms of how they aim their model so that it corresponds with the projectiles it may fire. An example would be the Photon Cannon from the Protoss. They have a Turret which tells them how they can move the cannon around. An Auto-turret from Terrans can only turn 180 Degrees while a Photon Cannon can turn all 360 degrees. This does not mean that EVERY unit in the game needs a turret. It's just a nice way to force an "aim" behaviour on a unit.

You can choose what Turret a unit should have by going to the Unit Tab and pick your unit, then choose "Combat - Weapons". Models used by the unit require a TurretZ attachment point for this to work.
