Organism is a game based on the popular warcraft 3 game, Parasite.

The game can be locked on your unit or free camera

In organism players select one of 5 classes in the lobby (Marine, Engineer, Ghost, Medic, or Firebat) each class has it's own strengths and weaknesses.

Players spawn in random locations among a dark space station, each room has its own light sources that can be turned on or off, when in complete darkness, units are invisible. One player spawns as the Organism, which starts the game inside another player.

The organism can do things like turn the infected players lights on and off, change the colour of him or other players, make him or others appear infected, spawn illusions, shake the screen and generally mess with the infected or surrounding players heads.

Each unit has a sanity stat, which, when low, weakens them and causes hallucinations.

Once the organism obtains enough evolution points (granted over time and by using abilities) he can burst from the infected player, instantly turning them into a spawn and allowing the organism to operate without a host. The organism then gets a whole bunch of illusionary abilities and different forms it can evolve into.

When a player dies, they enter a "downed" state, when downed they can be easily taken by the organism, or revived by a medic, at the end of the downed state, they spawn as an infected marine, and joining the organisms side. The goal is to lower team killing and to keep everyone in the game until it's conclusion.

If a spawn dies, they will res at the host after a few seconds in the form of an egg that will hatch into a spawn dependent on the host form.

There will be many ways to play the game, from trickery and deception, to wave survival, with many events to increase the strength of your unit or opportunities to balance the field.

Many different items will be in the game to support these different play styles, in connection with a bunch of separate game modes. Want to skip the slow deceptive starting and get straight to the fast paced action? set the game type to wave and the host will instead control the swarm as they try to hunt and kill the other players.

There will also be an option for first or third person gameplay (obviously not default due to delay issues)
