I am dreaming abut m3 exporter/importer for maya every night. 3d's max is way too terrible to enjoy working with it :[

    P.S. Thats NOT sexual dreams!

Yeah I am using 3ds max and maya, an exporter for it would be great, because some tools are just better to use in maya :(

If someone has some coding knowledge and wants a maya plugin: By reusing the m3 python library from my m3 addon for Blender it schould be relativly easy to create a basic m3 exporter and importer for Maya.

I did a tutorial a while back of a work around to get models from maya to 3ds max to m3
    http://www.sc2mapster.com/forums/resources/tutorials/31112-how-to-maya-to-3ds-max-to-m3/

similar steps could be used with blender for windows or mac.
