This one is a fun contest and using one of the most exciting new feature of the Galaxy Editor: Attachements!
You have to make a creature combining existing models. Do you remember the Uberlisk from Blizzard, well it's now your time to combine models together to make fun creatures. You can use any part of the editor you want (attachements, triggers, ...) but it must follow those rules:
If you don't know how to start, ProzaicMuze made a step by step tutorial: How to make an Uberlisk. Don't be afraid by the length of it, it really goes into great detail to explain why things were done, it takes no more than 10 minutes to do the Uberlisk.
You have 8 days to complete this contest.
The main goal of the contest is to further community development within GalaxyEdit. The rewards can be see as follows:
Looks fun, but not everyone can make videos (on high detail etc).
Does it need to be a (biological) creature or is any unit acceptable?
Hmm, How will you judge?

Post the map, and i'm pretty sure someone will make the video for you :)

Any creature is good, your imagination is the limit :)
Quote from XYZMuffin: GoHmm, How will you judge?
Same as all contests, people will be able to vote and the one with the most vote will win. I haven't decided yet how the vote is going to be done (forum limitations, number of entries ...), but it will be very similar to all the previous contests.
vj, i recommend having a select few non-bias judges critique the entries to outweigh any Possible Bias, so it's simply not a popularity contest.
(if even needed?)
The primary goal of the contests is to give the opportunity to make many map makers work on a single subject for a week. Having people vote to me is really important as they are going to view the submissions.
If you make the voting part in the hand of some judges, only them will see all the great work you've all done and will elect few submissions (top 3 for example). And people will only see the first 3, which is lame!
Also, how would you elect the judges? I really don't feel good about having my voice count more than anyone else in here. And I wouldn't feel confortable making your work being judged by a few selected people. It's not really how I see fairness :)
What's really cool, is if someone can create a unit that allows other units to "attach and detach" using the [Load] Functions for transport, and even allow units that is loaded onto the transport, to attack of it's own free will, or with the use of a ability.
For example, if you can re-size a battle cruiser, imagine letting it load a siege tank to attach on top of it, and use it in siege mode as a Air-to-Ground Artillery! If not the use of Siege tanks, then allow multiple "mini" version of marines to load on top of it to act as "Anti-air troops against air units" and allows the marines to shoot at nearby air units even while the battle cruiser is moving.

Mounts (@dra6o0n), non-biological creatures (who said Terra-tron?) are more than welcome in the contest :)
Yep, saying creature contest sounds like a Spore game :( Any model is good

StarMovie (play video in map)
So a clever tank is also allowed?
Yeah, the goal is to have fun with the attachements and model combinations :)
I want someone to try to make a mobile base, by combining tank tracks with a doodad on top of it or something, then having walls of metal...
A Giant APC in that case.
Still, nobody perfected the pathing editor yet to make a "mobile bridge" that can carry units on top of it.
Meh, what about a functional "railgun unit" that acts like a slow mobile fortress that can launch siege tanks over a distance using a rail system?
Anyone up for making a wrecking ball of units that picks up and sticks units, only to grow and grow?
I thought I'd help get some ideas rolling by submitting a mech/turret based creature mash-up that was easier to understand than the Uberlisk. Enter the "Rhino!" Everything was done with Host, Host Site Operations, Local Offsets and Site Actors. If you found the Uberlisk's actors to be confusing, feel free to take a look at this map and use it as a reference for making things like attached turrets that turn to face their target and multi-weapon configurations.
There are a LOT of actors and effects, but they should be easier to understand than the Spine Crawlers.

Just wondering, what will this be marked on? How good they are attached, best unit design/ coolest unit? Because I have a good idea for one, but it probably won't be created well xD

It's a fallen protoss riding a broodlord and carrying several other protoss in stasis. Its weapon thaws out the other protoss which use three different lightning attacks. The rider has its own attack anim along with the enslaved protoss. Unfortunately the mind link between the rider and the three protoss didn't work since the position wouldn't update unless the unit was moving. :(
I can't make a youtube video. :(

We're looking for a combination of it all, really. How in depth can you get with the editor? That's the main goal of these contests, :p. Though keep in mind, it'll be voted on by the public...

Are there only 2 entries so far?

I played around with one. I made an Infested Protoss which was a zealot with a bunch of zerg tumors growing all over and a tentacle attack. I just couldn't get it to look really good though because number of attachment points for the zealot model is extremely lacking - nothing on the torso that animates, for example.
I think the amount of customization possible with this subject is fairly limited, to be honest. If we were allowed to edit models (even just to add attachment points) and textures we might see some more interesting entries.
