If life's a bitch, better make everyday your wife!!
I am learning 3DS Max and making a bunch of models for my game. I learned how to get models in to SC2 with This tutorial.
Thanks for the Tutorial, I'll take a look deeper into it. If I am doing this project by myself I will have to start in the Winter instead of right away. That way I can devote all my time to the project.
Anything is possible. Well, most things.
Hey!, i am learning 3DS Max since last years im a student and did a lot of project (10more for now) Im really passionate into video games and i would like to help you, modele your races and cooperate with you.
I think your idea is awesome and I just hope it work well!!
(im not that good with sc2 editor to but i know how to import my models into it) And ofc the models im gonna do aren't gonna be as beautiful as sc2 it self since those guys work in that since long time and they are awesome but i can and i will do my best to make the best models possible!!
Talk to me if interrested !

ehhh no thanks, Ill stick with 3 races, I didnt like how Wc3 had four... It just gets to be too much, and lowers the quality of low and pro level play, . I would say if you want more races go play wc3, and while any custom you made would be really cool, i just hope they dont make them official. though I would like to try your custom just for the fun of it.
I personally would rather have 3 REALLY good and expansive races then 100 undefined races.(which is what WoW is and Wc3 was)
my maps will always be Free. and Available to the public at the earliest possible date.
If you need a tester feel free to ask IShadowWolf.258

To add to your point. I'll be really impressed OP manages to make three races worth of starcraft 2 quality models, spells, ect. And of coarse, the more races you add, the harder it is to balance.
I'm not saying don't do it, I just think this sounds a little ambitious right now, and naturally I would hate to see it fail.
Good day sir!
And that would be great, now I would be in support of a 2nd ladder featuring 3 new races, but not keeping the old 3.
So they phase out Terran Zerg and protoss, but this is just in ladder, and has no influence on the campaign.
So there would be 2 Ladders
This would also give Blizzard somewhere to take the starcraft franchise after the finale of the original 3 races start a new story with another UED Group in a different part of the universe, where other races have come, and maybe have cameos of the original 3 races. Also keeping the original 3 in the classic ladder :P(cant be starcraft without Terran Zerg and toss. atleast online anyways )
I'd be very thankful for any help, I am about to start on it actually and I am putting together all the ideas needed. It's a huge project and I hope you are up for it. My other Custom Race, (The Infested) came out beautifully as expected, but more importantly it gave me an idea on where to take this in terms of actually making new races.
Although I agree with the statement that more races dilutes the overall gaming experiences, but as this is just a custom, I doubt blizzard will pay much attention to it. So no fear of changing the ladder per say. I go with Blizzard standards on customs, I post an Alpha, Beta, and the finished product when it is ready and not in any time frame, I go for quality not speed. As seen with my fourth addition people liked the idea and thought with more work it could be ladder worthy; To say the least I am not about to throw 20 new races with 1 unit per race, I fully intend to make fully initiated races with their own strategies, spells, unit combinations, economy boosts, and other unique aspects to each race that coincide with the mass effect genre. Ambitious? Hell yeah it is, but you know, DOTA wasn't made in 1 day. I don't expect to finish this tomorrow or the day after, it will take a lot of work but it would be well worth the effort.
