I guess this forum also serves as a welcome thread.

I've been a devout map maker for StarCraft: BroodWar for the past 10 years. I never played WC3 so I never got past the SC1 map editor intellect meaning I have a lot to learn. (Hence why I'm here)

In sc1, i made a bunch of maps. One that I would like to mention is Mini-game Party. It's like Mario Party (or Uther party for those of you who've played wc3) but with 128 mini-games (you can find it at http://www.staredit.net). I plan on remaking Mini-game Party for sc2 but i am going to need plenty of help with this galaxy editor so I hope to befriend you folks here :)

Oh, now I know why some people here don't know what loops are in Triggering.

Do you know what loops are?

By the way, just to mention it, I was also going to recreate my own map that came from WC3. But I soon realize that I don't like creating a map I already did in WC3.

Now, I've been making maps that used to be impossible to do in WC3.

I was never an editor of SC1, but I did make melee maps when I was a bored 7 year old.

    Welcome to the Community.

Right now, this is the best place to ask a question and feature your project.

Soon enough, there'll be more SC2 sites that will turn this website into nothing.

    Enjoy!

Note: Since you can't subscribe to threads in SC2Mapster, I probably won't reply.

Want to update your game without publishing the whole game and needlessly putting an increment to the game version?

    uhh, what? lol

And welcome MA. I can verify that MA was one of the most popular SC1 mappers around.

Uhh yep its me, hows it been?

Whats the Curse Auth DB? I guess that explains it, I find it unlikely that someone would be so obsessed with me that they would steal my user name still.
