hi everybody, i am on the brink on buying starcraft 2, but i am interested in using the editor and try to make a campaign, but regarding that i have 2 questions:

    1. can i make a campaign where after victory on a map the next map is automatically loaded? basically can i do everything needed to be done to make a real campaign and not only maps one by one?

    2. since i heard regarding uploaded maps on the battle.net there are some limitations, so for a full campaign it would make more sense to give it around externally, so when i have made my campaign can i just zip something like "my campaign" folder and give it to people that want to play it or is it more complicated than that

    thanks in advance :)

There are triggering functions for that, but they will only work offline, not on battle.net.

You can upload a maximum of 157 mb or 20 maps, which ever comes first, to battle.net.

So basically, generally and obviously... add more rocks.
    Hope is just deferred disapointment.
Dropbox is an easy way to share maps between project members.

    thanks, regarding your two answers:

    1. ok but for a single player campaign that wouldnt be a problem, right?

    2. but when my upload would break the limitations, it wouldnt be a problem to zip up a "my campaign" folder or so i assume? is that a common practice for finished projects or is battle.net exclusively used?

    1. No, try playing the Crimson Moon campaign. It has all the functionalities you would need. 2. You dont upload the single player campaign on battlenet. You upload it here or somewhere else. People then play it by opening it up in the editor. Since you dont want the players to see the map before they play it, you could do like the guy behind Crimson Moon, and have a map that functions as a launcher for the rest of the maps (it has 10 buttons which you launch other maps with)
