    Hello SC2 Community,

I cannot load my old published map from within the Editor. There is no option to open it in the Open menus. I tried logging into battle.net going under recently played and all the other options, its not there. When I log into battle.net within the game, it does show up in the My Published section. I recently formatted my PC thus the original files are no longer on my machine. Also if I go to Manage Published in the Editor I can see the map and the button to Open In Editor is grayed out.

    Thanks in advance

If you can't get to it when you goto file>open>Battle.net tab>File type: all editor documents-Source: My documents. then I have no idea

That mean that your map is locked. Locking a map prevents anyone from opening it, even the uploader. You could try to contact blizzard and maybe if you're lucky they will send it to you.

So basically, generally and obviously... add more rocks.
    Hope is just deferred disapointment.
Dropbox is an easy way to share maps between project members.

If you can see the map published, but it's not letting you download it, it's likely because it's locked. You (even though you're the map creator) can't open it. That said, if you really want to get those files, there may be a way to sneak past the locked map security.

I don't know if this exact method still works, but you can try it. Keep in mind that I would strongly discourage the use of this technique for downloading maps that are not yours- it's stealing. I also haven't personally checked the linked tools for to verify their safety and proper function. That said, here's the tutorial link.
