    Here's a summary for those tl;dr

    - Dedicated clan windows, with News, Private chat channel tabs

    - Clan leader and promote and demote members

    - Clan name is 3-24 characters

    - Clan tag is 2-4 characters

    - Clan size is 50 members

    Those limit are what going into beta, could change till release.

    So what's going to be our tags?

    such a short tag, for Sc2Mapster? even Mpstr isn't allowed. Please Blizz give us at least 1 or 2 more characters! lol.

    Clan tags are traditionally that long but hopefully they will see the need to increase it to 5.

    A lot of great things have been coming from blizz the past 1 1/2 weeks.

    Oh and good to see you programmer :D

    my maps will always be Free. and Available to the public at the earliest possible date.

    4 Characters is a standard clan tag size, I think. I'd agree that a few more characters would certainly be nice- the numbers are all subject to change, of course.

    I like MAPR the most but MAPZ works too.

    SC2M was what I was thinking about, or just Maps :p

    but.... only 50 people. People who have read the blizzard post will see that "groups" will be added as well, which I think is a better fit for mapster than a clan :p

    I agree, a mapster clan with that pop cap would not be very including. Such a clan, for an open forum like this can not have any limitation.

    It will be more like Steam groups, which is more fit for a website, but I'm so pessimistic that I think we will ever have <50 members

    I would'nt say that its about how many people will actually join in the end. I think its more about the principle that there is a limit. SC2 is open and so should the clan/gruop be :)
