You can add me to the list. I will help boosting the map of the week like crazy.
Maybe I'll got a own project ready for this, but time will tell.

Always ready to promote. Add me to the list.
Current projects:
Zerg Hunters (former "Orcs& Elves" from wc3) - stage: Open BETA on EU Servers
Escape Builder - stage: WIP: 1%
I'll help where I can, promoting and playing it.
I really think that will make or break the whole thing.
Looking for a Terrainer - Trivial Pursuit
Quote from TheAlmaity: GoPM me before friday so that I make sure that it's played on Map Night.
I plan on PMing everyone on the list close to the release date. We want everybody in there! :)
Quote from Fullachain: GoAre we actually going to vote whether a map is good enough to be published? Or just putting any map submitted by a User here on there?
I will add on the list all the maps the makers want me to add, but it's the community decision to add them on one of the available weeks. There will be a pool where we will vote which map will be on each week (1st pool: 1st week and so on).
Add me to the list. I might also have a map soon that could be in the vote.
Starcraft: Rebirth of the Swarm (Full-Length SC2 Machinima Movie): http://forums.sc2mapster.com/resources/project-workplace/15524-starcraft-rebirth-of-the-swarm-machinima/
Perhaps split the people on list into regions, so we know?
I'd like to submit - 15 Assassins - to the list. It's not quite ready just yet, but [perhaps worth mentioning :)
Ill certainly play the maps and get my friends to play them, so you can add me to the list if you want :D Also, I have a map I've been working on that's not really close to release at this point, but sometime in the next 6 months it should be ready and id love to add it to the pool then.
Add me to the list, but as I said in the other thread:
May be my map Island TD...
:D
I'm totally into it. Throwing Income Wars into the pot. (and my next map whenever it finishes)
Will promote and play this project. I've also both US en EU account.

At the start of the map we should as some fancy map of the week graphic and promotion, before starting the map. I don't think a new loading screen is necessary, but the hint should be something to do with the map of the week program.
I'll help to promote this initiative. But I won't be able to login in late August.
You can add CoreFight to the map list, although maybe we should wait until version 3 is released, for better polishing and balancement.
Catalyst by Eiviyn could be a good option for the first map. People loved it when it reached top 1 some time ago.
Quote:The publisher will add a trigger to your map (event: map initialization. Action: create tip called "Map of the Week" that talks about the idea and lists previous and future maps). The publisher will also delete all the other game modes and change the name of the chosen game mode to the original name of the map. The category will also be changed to "SC2Mapster."
I don't use triggers in my map, but an obfuscated script, and I think some of us do the same. Publisher should better give us his tip trigger so we can properly add it to our maps.
I'm not sure, but I think that if you change the map name or the mode of a map, its popularity gets reseted.

Play CoreFight - Play CoreFight - Play CoreFight - Play CoreFight - Play CoreFight
I'm all for promoting the maps, count me in!
So basically, generally and obviously... add more rocks.
Hope is just deferred disapointment.
Dropbox is an easy way to share maps between project members.
Quote from IliIilI: GoCatalyst by Eiviyn could be a good option for the first map.
If I were to chose a map, it wouldn't be Catalyst. With that said, I added the source file to my junk thread, feel free to do whatever you want to it if you do want to use it.
Just note that when I made this, I was an editor scrub. The internal workings are not pretty.

Edit: This is a community project. Please moderators, feel free to update this thread for me while I'm busy :P
Map of the week is a project where we all raise together a map called Map of the Week that uses the popularity of previous popular maps to help map makers to promote their new maps. The map changes to a new different map every week. If you made a map and you think it is fun to play, you can ask here for us to add your map into the map pool.

Publishers:
Publishers will receive the maps, add the Map of the Week trigger, change the category to "SC2Mapster" and the game mode to the name of the map. Then, they will publish the map on its publishing date with the name "Map of the Week," which will replace the old Map of the Week keeping the popularity of the previous map. They have an important role of publishing the map on the date and keeping track of the popularity of the Map of the Week. If the popularity is going downhill, the current map has to be instantly changed to the previous or next week's map.

Watermelon:
The Map of the Week is an opportunity for mappers to promote their maps. Being featured on the top for a week might allow mappers to form their own community ready to play their maps when they finally publish them with their real name. Also, once Map of the Week gets popular, many new mappers will come to SC2Mapster to join the project. That will make the mapping community stronger. Please, help us to promote this project. Players will love the Map of the Week because it's an opportunity to play different maps every week (pretty much like the Fun or Not system).
According to TacoManStan, this project:
This is a community project, so please, make all your suggestions. I will keep updating this thread with more information. I am looking forward to seeing new volunteers willing to share their maps, help publishing, or promoting the Map of the Week. :)
