Kinda squeezing this in last second, but anyways:
WASD Freespace Flight System
Features:
- Dynamic Height:Movement speed ratios
- Any unit compatibility, values are all based on data entries
- Very little lag supposing the terrain cells are all hidden for a space map
- Hold LMB to pan camera in a TPS fashion
- Acceleration and Deceleration with W and A, you can accelerate to half speed and take a drink of coffee to chunk away some of those lightyears. ;)
- Could easily have a collision system added to it, I just didn't have time for it.
Flaws (Nothing that can't be fixed by someone more skilled than I am):
- Height changing is chunky, something to do with the height transition time.
- The unit stops to turn- I can't seem to figure out how to fix this in data, but I know that it can be done.
- Standard WASD delay time
Edit: Just looked at the other submissions. I am rightfully ashamed of this.
