So I am trying to make a way to rotate or spin a unit vertically, so I was wondering if anyone knows how this can be achieved or any ideas that might work?

Can you explain the basics for doing this or provide a link explaining it in more detail?
For the first one just look at the fields of the SOp and they are quite self explanatory like Actor: Local Axis and Actor: Rate
With the second method you use the SOp (Forward Vector) SOp to constantly face a hidden halfsquare of marines at right angles to each other attached head to origin. You then use events to alter the scale of the marines so they move around the desired axis in a circular motion.
