Use catalog triggers for the % damage that are triggered by a dummy damage effect. Just use a Create Persistent effect to do the blast then after a 0.0016sec duration it uses the Search Area effect. The filters of the search can solve problem number 3.

halo6676 Regular ShmoeSo I made an electric discharge ability that is a modified spectre psi lash that deals damage and 25% to nearby enemies and I need two more things form it: 1.) I want it to search anything in the target area and if it is still alive after the initial attack and apply a stun effect to it checking that it is not heroic, and 2.) I want it to deal a % weapon damage, not a fixed damage (if its ridiculously hard or complex as in 15+ min then don't worry about it)
And also, I need help with textures. I imported a custom model (http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/kanis-models/) and it came with textures, but I have no clue how to put them onto a unit. There seems to be no clear tutorials explaining how. Could someone put that in simple terms for me?
