WCE: Information and Idea Thread

I feel like I'm ripping mozared off with this but ah well. Basically this will contain all the past WCEs and will have a link to the current WCE.

The WCE or Weekly Cinematic exercise is to help grow our editing skills with the cinematic editor. Basically once a week Exaken or I will post a WCE with an event/theme description. You must create a cinematic to go along with this. As long as you post the map or a youtube video or even the cinematic file. This is not a competition it is an exercise to grow your abilities. Further more this is open for anyone and noons are invited. There are several tutorials and even a blizzard write up on the CE to help. I hope you all have fun and feel free to post ideas for future WCEs.

Don't worry, I ripped it off from WC3Campaigns in the old days, and they ripped it off from any weekly exercise ever. I hope this keeps going, though you might end up needing to make it monthly. Will check this out, seems cool. Also: note that a lot of people in the WTE's have uploaded their maps - it might be cool for people to use those terrains for cinematics here. One of the older WTE's named Canyon Ambush springs to mind, for example.

Yes I had been thinking about that. Would be cool and a nice way to show off those terrains.

How about a "Live Footage" excercise where a tv screen in the background shows what is happening or scenes from the cinematic in the cinematic as it plays.
