[SOLVED] $30 paid job. I need a decal model.

    I need a decal model based on decal_00.m3 which appears on top of creep. The model must stay 'on top' of creep when creep tries to cover it and must not randomly go invisible when being placed. Some decal models which do stay on top of creep right now are MarSaraCracks_05.m3 and ZergAOECursor.m3

    You can look at those maybe to figure out why they stay on top of creep and decal_00.m3 does not. But keep in mind both of those examples have their own issues (MarSaraCracks randomly goes invisible 1/10 times you place it, and ZergAOECursor renders strangely.)

    Well I guess it sort of worked...its showing up on top of the creep... but I am getting a weird pink glowing box now instead of the decal.

    Maybe try to put it to the root folder in the import editor. I have it there and it looks like it supposed to.

    Sweet that worked. Let me just try one more thing, I noticed it looks a little like it has some kind of normal map on it now but it might just be the decal I am using. Going to import it into another map where I can swap the image really quickly to check a bunch of different ones to make sure it isn't a real problem.

    Otherwise, what's your paypal so I can send you $30?

    Actually I don't have paypal and probably it doesn't work for russia, but I have an idea: how about I do some more modelling for you so u just preoreder a digital copy of US HOTS for me? I heard it's about $40.

    Hmm okay, I can't think of any other modeling I need done right now but maybe I can just keep you on call then for future help!

    How do I preorder HotS for you?

    you paid $30 for this? you can do it in the data editor without any custom models at all, there's at least 5 threads and tutorials that show how to do it on this site.
