Hmm I've not seen the Shuttle model myself but to me it sounds like the issue is that you've attached the unit (colossus in your example) to an attachment point on the model which is not linked to the bones which animate the floating. I would suggest looking at the model in the Cinematic Editor, set it to show attachments (Pressing "A" will do this) You should see a bunch of green triangles/pyramids, these mark attachment points. Make sure the stand animation is playing and see if any of the markers are moving in time with the shuttle. If you select one of the triangles and bring up model data (Shift + D) the name of the attachment point should be highlighted.
Now if you use this attachment point to attach the Colossus you should be good. You may need to tweak the position of the attachment a bit with SOps but otherwise it should work.
Again, I don't know the model so don't know if it has the needed attachment points, but hopefully this will help.
Argutaris Regular ShmoeWell, the thing I need this for is to make a protoss high-tech large unit drops via shuttles more realistic in my campaign. The problem with currently existant model of a shuttle is that it has floating animations while moving/starting to move and being idle. That way when a shuttle picks up a massive unit ( I attached it under the suttle, like thor and medivac) the shuttle continues to float while the attached unit - doesn't. This little detail rapes me visualy and I realy want to fix it.
I just need to remove that floating animation from the shuttle model, all the visual effects, like engine and lights do not need any change. Is this hard to achieve?
I can upload/send the model and textures if you don't know where to dl em.
