Sc2Mapster's Weekly Terraining Exercise reaches 100th edition

The 100th WTE!

The Weekly Terraining Exercise is just what the name makes it out to be: a weekly exercise for mappers to hone their terraining skills here on Sc2Mapster. Today it has reached a milestone: the #100 WTE was uploaded, which means they've been going on for over two years today. And did we see worthwhile terrains!

Feel free to take a peek in the thread (link's in the title) and maybe join in - the WTE is accessible to anybody. If you prefer to watch, enjoy this beautiful teaser video our user Scbroodsc2 has created in honor of the WTE.

Yeah sorry about that... Do you know anything better then Windows movie maker? (Yeah I know anything is better but... you know haha ) I would really like to do some better video cause it's really annoying beeing stuck at 480p.

Probably closer to 2.5, cause if I remember correctly, you started WTE during beta which was april of 2010 I do beleive. Hard to remember that far back.

What Scbroodsc2 said is basically the starting point of the explanation: we've haven't consequently had one WTE per week. We've had WTE's that lasted two or even more weeks. If you look in the archive thread you'll note the '1 year of WTEs' WTE was at #43 or such, rather than #52. I've just kind of lost count, but we're definitely over 2 years now - may even be close to 2.5 years.

Some WTE have last 2 weeks. So, you're right technically, but in fact you're wrong ;)

When I look at my video... I just can't imagine all the hours we've spent creating these terrains... 2 years into 3 minutes... I just don't have any words... Great job to everyone =D With HoTS, we will have alot to explore with the new terrains set... snow worlds will really be splendid! But, probably more... when you look at the HoTS maps, you can see some other new tileset like the kind of protoss ship that is really awesome... How many things are still hidden until THE day where HoTS will finaly be released?
