Light Times Night by revans101
LTN is a highly cinematic single player experience featuring the heroine Light, an overwhelmingly powerful psionic who is part of a group known publically as "The Resistance". Set in a different universe than Starcraft altogether, LTN is an episodic series of single player games with each episode taking approximately 90 minutes to complete.
In addition to a slew of customized cinematics, art, UI, and voice acting, the way abilities are used will have a different feel compared to most custom games on Startcraft 2. As the story progresses, players gain powers like short duration stealth, speed weapons, and eventually will have limited control over time itself, being able to slow down time for everything except the player, stop time, or even reverse it.

1. siege tanks rolling through city
2. sexy sniping in shadow, scary alleyway
3. cinematic of running away from assault viking
4. "We got a past to save" and the orgasmic music after that voice clip.
Please just make videos! I don't care about the map if your videos are this sexy.
Tip on you map: Have really low sight radius on Light. Makes the map(s) feel much bigger, darker and scarier. Then use trigs to reveal important plot things.

revans101 Feb 15, 2012 at 03:10 UTC - 0 likesIt's hard to tell from the smaller embedded video, but the title is indeed Light Time's Night. However, if you look at the shadow of the text you will see it written on the ground as Light Time's Knight. The rather ambiguous title can be interpreted both ways and the player's understanding of what that means will expand as the story progresses. For the time being, that's all the information that I can share. When the game is released, almost all of the concerns here should be addressed.

Light times night sounds too much like a poorly spoken math equation.

Khalanil1 Feb 14, 2012 at 01:53 UTC - 0 likesLike BorgDragon said, should it be "Light: Time's Knight"? From what gameplay was shown and the description, I look forward to seeing the working product.

BorgDragon Feb 13, 2012 at 21:01 UTC - 0 likesThe text at least made me interested. The trailer, not so much. I did not like "her" voice... Sounds... bad?
Light Time's Night?
WTF does that even mean?
Is she "Time's Knight" ? Describe the power to slow/stop/reverse time, and at the end she says "We've got a past to save" so I could certainly understand if she's "Time's Knight/Savior".
Overall... video could have used something more.
Still looking forward to the project, however.
